Karwar Regional Station of CMFRI bagged Karwar Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) Award
Karwar Regional Station of ICAR–Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), has secured the First Prize for excellent implementation of Official Language for the year 2024–25, awarded by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Karwar. The award was presented during the 62nd Half-Yearly Meeting of TOLIC, Karwar, held on 27th November 2025 at the Canara Bank Regional Office, Karwar. The trophies were distributed by Smt. Suvarna Goankar, Head, HRM, Kaiga Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Shri Prasad Gokhale, Principal, Atomic Energy Central School, Kaiga, Karwar, and Shri B. Nagaraja Reddy, Assistant General Manager, Canara Bank, RO Karwar. Shri. Suraj Shaw, Member Secretary, TOLIC Karwar, was also present during the ceremony. On behalf of the ICAR- CMFRI Karwar Regional Station, the award was received by Dr. C. Kalidas, Principal Scientist & Scientist-in-Charge and Dr. Praveen Narayan Dube, Senior Technical Assistant.
