Hindi Fortnight Celebration at ICAR CMFRI
With a view to encourage staff members of the Institute to do their work in Hindi, and to create awareness in Official Language, Hindi Fortnight was observed from 15th to 29th September, 2025 at ICAR- Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) with various programmes. Various programmes like Hindi Memory Test, Hindi Typing Competitions were held in offline and Hindi Noting & Drafting, Hindi Quiz, Hindi Poem Recitation and Hindi Picture Description were held in hybrid mode. The competitions were attended by Officials from CMFRI Headquarters and all the Regional Centres / Stations. The Valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight was held in Conference Hall 201 on 15th October, 2025. Dr. P. Shalini, Hindi Lecturer & Writer was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Grinson George, Director, CMFRI delivered the presidential address. Shri P. Muraleedharan, Senior Administrative Officer and Officer-in-Charge (OL) delivered welcome address. The chief guest distributed prizes to the winners. Co-ordination section received Rajbhasha Rolling Trophy for securing more points in Hindi competitions. Shri A.T.Sunil, Assistant Administrative Officer, Co-ordination section and officials of the section received trophy from the Chief Guest.
