Objectives

1. To bridge a gap between SC/ST population and others by accelerating the fisheries developmental activities.

2. Enhance the quality of life by providing basic amenities in SC/ST areas/localities

3. Substantial reduction in poverty and unemployment, creation of productive assets and income generation opportunities.

4. Enhance the capacity to avail opportunities to gain rights and entitlement and improved facilities at par with other areas, and protection against exploitation and oppression.
