Education: Both B.Sc. Aquaculture and M.Sc. Applied Fisheries & Aquaculture were done from Albert’s College, M.G University.  Secured III^rd Rank for M.Sc. Registered for Ph.D (2014) at Mangalore university with topic ‘Fishery, Biology and Barcoding of sharks of the family Triakidae from south west coast of India’ and research is ongoing. Total number of publications is 9 out of which 2 are Journal papers and 7 Articles.

Work Experience: CMFRI experience includes working as Skilled staff (2012) and as Junior Research Fellow (2013) in MOES sponsored project ‘Resource Assessment and Barcoding of Elasmobranchs.

Focus of Research: Taxonomy and Biology of fishes.
