Thrust Areas of Research

Broodstock development, breeding and seed production of high value marine finfishes (cobia, silver pompano, Malabar red snapper), shellfishes (Portunus pelgicus) and ornamental fishes .
Investigations on climate resilient species for mariculture and development and transfer of technology on diversified farming methods such as sea cage farming, integrated farming and pen culture.
